In the collaboration between Venter Projects (Pty) Ltd, Pilkington Industrial Park, and Allpro Coatings, a significant project was undertaken to replace existing asbestos roofsheets with IBR sheeting, focusing on creating a safer and more sustainable roofing solution for solar purposes. The project aimed to address health risks associated with asbestos while harnessing the benefits of IBR sheeting for renewable energy production.

Asbestos, once popular for its heat-resistant properties, posed serious health hazards due to its tendency to release harmful fibers into the air when damaged or disturbed. By replacing these hazardous roofsheets with IBR sheeting, the project achieved multiple benefits.
